lohost costs nothing to use, but it is not open source. This licence is the whole of what you may do with it.
1. Use. You may download, install and use lohost free of charge, for any purpose, on any number of Macs.
2. Redistribution. You may redistribute lohost only unmodified — the app or disk image exactly as published at lohost.dev — and only free of charge. You may not sell it, charge for access to it, or bundle it with anything you sell.
3. No reverse engineering or modification. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or modify lohost, or make works derived from it, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits this despite this restriction.
4. No warranty. lohost is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. What it shows comes from what macOS and other programs report, and can be wrong, late or missing. Whether to stop a process is your decision, made when you click.
5. No liability. In no event is the author liable for any claim, damages or other liability, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, arising from, out of or in connection with lohost or its use — including a process stopped, a server interrupted or work lost.
6. Names. The lohost name and the ring mark are covered by TRADEMARK.md. This licence grants no rights to them.
7. Other software. lohost includes open-source components that remain under their own licences, which this licence does not change. Where a part of lohost is published under a licence of its own, that licence governs that part. The programs lohost recognises — Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Docker and others — belong to their owners; lohost is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
